I decided to make an ads video for the Russian food delivery company «Samokat»
Idea
The Samokat service is famous for the fact that orders come almost instantly. The idea was that a youth girl should order food and fall asleep, and immediately wake up, because the order has already been delivered.
I decided to make all the sketches on paper, because it's so much more convenient for me to draw and be creative.

Color palette and font
The next important stage is the color palette. The Samokat has its own signature colors - pink and white, but they would not be enough to create a full-fledged video. That's why I chose contrasting colors that fit perfectly into the palette and still remind us of the company.
Next, I started selecting the font. I didn't find the original font on the Internet. I had to pick up a similar one myself. I highlighted the similarities and differences between the original and selected fonts. The font I chose retained the mood, rhythm and outline of the original, so it was decided to choose it.
Creating
At the next stage, I started drawing slides in the Adobe Illustrator. The first frame was originally supposed to have nails, but in the end I decided to remove them to simplify perception. By adding it, I would have attracted more young people aged 21-27, but the purpose of the video was to make it aesthetically understandable for all people who find food delivery attractive.
One of the important points is the girl's room. The main elements of the room were supposed to reflect modernity, comfort and, most importantly, to remind about the speed of delivery. Comfort reflects the armchair, curtains and other elements reflects modern interior. The clock remind us about the speed of delivery, they also stand out artistically among the interior. Also, during the video, they are highlighted using the zoom.
The original sketch was completely not clear, and I decided to draw it in order to better understand what I want to fix. That's when I realized that the interior looks completely out of date and decided to fix the curtains and replace the refrigerator with a plant. On the slides you can see, why I decided to use a certain kind of furniture.
